By WOODY SCHULDT - Revised on: May 19, 2013
The DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition) will be the first update to the diagnostic manual since the DSM-IV-TR in 2000. Changes to the DSM have broad implications including the categorization of disorders for research purposes, the way disorders are conceptualized and what disorders will qualify for insurance reimbursement.

Relationship Conflict Resolution
Educate couples on basic communication and conflict resolution skills. This printout includes brief summaries of skills such as focusing on the problem rather than the person, reflective listening, using "I" statements, using time-outs, and working toward resolutions. This worksheet can work well as an educational tool, or as a reminder for couples to take home.
My Partner's Qualities
This worksheet is designed to be used in couples counseling to emphasize the positive qualities of a relationship. Each individual should complete the worksheet, and then share their responses with their partner.
