Introduction to Anxiety

worksheet

Effective anxiety treatment starts with basic psychoeducation. As therapists, we understand that anxiety is a necessary emotion. It stops us from driving double the speed limit, or from skipping work every other day. We also know that too much anxiety can be debilitating due to avoidance of triggers and uncomfortable physical, emotional, and cognitive symptoms.

Use this anxiety worksheet to help introduce your clients to these concepts by providing them with a definition, and asking them to identify their triggers and symptoms. This worksheet is intended to act as an introduction or review of anxiety in accompaniment with further education.
