When is Anger a Problem?

worksheet

In small doses, anger is an appropriate, normal, and healthy emotion. Everyone experiences anger. It helps us stand up for ourselves when we’ve been wronged, and protect our own needs. However, in many circumstances, anger can have unwanted consequences.

Using the worksheet When is Anger a Problem, you will learn about how anger can negatively impact physical and emotional health, school or work performance, relationships, and more. We suggest using this worksheet early in anger management therapy to help build motivation for change. It will help your client see how, and to what extent, anger has impacted their life.
