Anxiety Bingo an anxiety bingo game

Anxiety Bingo Splash Image
Ages: 13+
Devices: Mobile, Tablet, or Desktop
Topics: Anxiety
Description

It's the classic game of Bingo, with a mental health twist. The letters B-I-N-G-O along the top of the board are replaced with categories related to anxiety, such as "Coping Skills." Within each square is a term related the category, such as "Deep Breathing" or "Progressive Muscle Relaxation." As players fill in their boards, they will have an opportunity to discuss and learn about anxiety.

Suggested Use

Group Discussion: The Anxiety Bingo game is intended for use with a group between 2 and 15 members. We suggest taking a moment after each turn for a brief discussion about the answer that's selected. Just in case there are answers you aren't familiar with, you can download the Game Guide (found in the Bingo Boards menu).

Instructions

Game Boards: After launching the game, click the "Bingo Boards" button in the top right corner of the screen. From here, you may choose printable boards for in-person sessions, or digital boards for remote play.

Basic Instructions: Provide each player with a game board, and click "Start Game" to begin. A ball with a category and an answer will bounce onto the screen. Players will check their board to see if they have the matching category and answer. If they do, they can mark the square using a pen, stamp, or whatever else is convenient. The first player to get a complete line of checked-off squares wins the game! A winning line can be horizontal, diagonal, or vertical.

Other Info: You can start a new game by clicking the "Reset Game" button in the top right corner of the screen. You can also review answers that have already been played in the "Answer History" section.
