The ABC model of CBT

Rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT)—a form of cognitive behavioral therapy—requires clients to evaluate their beliefs and change their unhealthy emotions and behaviors. REBT implements something called the ABC model, which can help clients understand how a situation could result in number of different thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Learning the ABC model is one of the first steps in REBT treatment.

The ABC model of CBT video uses examples to describe each step of the ABC model, and how we can use it to battle mental illness such as depression and anxiety.
