Boundaries Discussion Questions

worksheet

Every relationship has its own norms, rules, and limits. These are the boundaries that tell us what’s okay, and what’s not okay, in the relationship.

The Boundaries Discussion Questions handout was designed to encourage in-depth discussion of personal boundaries. Each question will prompt exploration of topics related to boundaries, such as values, porous vs. rigid boundaries, and healthy relationships. The goal of this worksheet is to promote critical thinking, contributing to understanding and insight.

These discussion questions can be used with individuals or groups. We recommend participants have a basic understanding of boundaries before completing this exercise. For more basic psychoeducation on this topic, check out the Boundaries Info Sheet.
