Calming Breath guided audio activity

Calming Breath
Ages: 10+
Devices: mobile, tablet, PC
Topics: anxiety, overwhelm, tension

When we feel stressed, our breathing becomes faster and shallower. Slowing and deepening the breath can help the body return to a calmer, more balanced state.

Our Calming Breath audio exercise teaches listeners the benefits of deep breathing and then guides them through a brief practice session.

Use this tool to teach deep breathing both in and between sessions. It’s especially helpful for clients experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, or physical tension.

Duration: ~10 minutes Suggested uses

Education: Teach clients how breathing patterns affect stress and how slowing the breath can help the body return to a calmer, more balanced state.

Practice: Encourage clients to return to this exercise often, since the benefits of slow breathing grow with regular practice.
