an anger education game

Anger Bingo Promo Image

Ages: 13+

Devices: Mobile, Tablet, or Desktop

Topics: Anger

Description

It's the classic game of Bingo, with an anger twist. The letters B-I-N-G-O are replaced with categories related to anger, such as "Warning Signs", and the numbers are replaced with relevant responses, such as "Can't Think Straight". This tool is a great way to prompt conversation in a group setting, while having some fun.

Suggested Use

Group Discussion: The Mental Health Bingo game is intended for use with a group between 2 and 15 members. We suggest taking some time after each turn for a brief discussion about the topic that's selected. Just in case there are answers you aren't familiar with, you can download the Instructor's Answer Sheet in the "Settings" menu.

Instructions

Game Boards: After launching the Bingo game, you'll notice a large "Print Boards" button in the center of the screen. Click this button, and select the number of boards you need. Each board is created with randomly placed answers, so you can play again and again!

How to Play: Provide each player with a game board, and click "Start Game" to begin. A ball with a category and an answer will bounce onto the screen. Players will check their board to see if they have the matching category and answer, and if they do, they will mark it off using a pen, stamp, or whatever else is convenient. The first player to get a complete line of checked-off squares wins the game! The line can be horizontal, diagonal, or vertical.

Other Info: You can start a new game by clicking the "Reset Game" button in the bottom right corner of the screen. You can also review answers that have already been played in the "Answer History" section. Each time a ball is played, the answer will be added to the history list.
