Anger Management Skills

Give your clients a handy list of Anger Management Skills that they can refer to as needed. The techniques covered in this worksheet include: Learning to recognize anger, taking a timeout, deep breathing, exercise, expressing anger, thinking of consequences, and visualization.

Use this worksheet as a guide to help teach clients new techniques, or as a reference they can use to remind themselves of skills they have learned in therapy sessions. We suggest choosing a few items from this list to practice in session, before setting clients off on their own!
